Suspect accidentally posts photo on Facebook via stolen phone
A Georgia man is a suspect in a car break-in. Police say a man who broke into the car took the cell phone sitting in the car, and went on to take a picture of himself. Little did the suspect know, the phone was set to send all pictures taken to be sent to Facebook.
The fact that the suspect would want to take a picture of himself on someones phone is very puzzling. Then to top it off the phone was set to send all pictures to Facebook just makes this a great ending to the story. Dumb criminal stories do allow us to feel superior. (But, hey, it was Georgia.) What is the news value here, Andrew? Should I feel safer knowing that criminals aren’t very bright?
