This week the only thing that has been in the news is Penn State University. They have not been in the news for good reasons, but rather their football team has gotten into some trouble. Back in the late 90’s former defensive coordinator got in trouble for sexually harassing a ten year old boy. One of the assistant coaches saw what had happened and reported it to the head coach Joe Paterno. Paterno then reported it to his higher authority, and nothing was done after that. Investigations slowly started in 2002 and they were slow enough former defensive coordinator was arrested last Saturday. That’s when things started going downhill for the program. Penn State ended up clearing house, by firing the President of the University and head coach Joe Paterno last night.

The thing that amazes me is the fact that the man who saw this all happen back when it happened, still has a job on the coaching staff. The way the University went about getting rid of people was not right. They should have let Paterno finish out the football season, then deal with everything after the season. Yes, Paterno was morally wrong, but did everything legally right. For more information visit ESPN.

“Sexually harassing” is likely not the correct term, Andrew. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to talk about this a bit more on Tuesday when Jenny Welp is in class. These situations are tough because no one wins. But Penn State needs to do what is necessary to protect its name, not necessarily protect Joe.

You’ll find certainly a great deal of details like that take into consideration. That is a superb point to create up. I provide you with the thoughts earlier mentioned as standard inspiration nevertheless clearly you will find questions much like the one you bring up where it is important will be employed in honest very good faith. I wear? t realize if guidelines have come about around things such as that, but I am sure that your work is clearly referred to as a reasonable game. Both girls and boys feel your impact of only a moment’s delight, for the rest of his or her lives.
