Newt Gingrich Speaks at Morningside

Former speaker of the house Newt Gingrich was at Morningside College, in Sioux City, Iowa on Tuesday. He spoke in front of a crowd of roughly 150 people. The event was held in the Yockey room which almost every seat was full, consisting of college students and older people who were in support of Gingrich. There were no signs or music at the event which came as a surprise.

He spoke for about an hour and a half about what his plan is for the future if he is elected president. After giving a brief overview he opened it up to questions. He quoted “I don’t want people to be for me, but for people to be with me.” He mentioned how it will take eight years to get this nation turned back around and after he leaves its up to the citizens to carry on.
