Josie Dike grew up in Riverton, Wyoming and began swimming competitively at the ripe age of seven. Dike spent most of her life in the pool with her team, which quickly became more of a second family to her.

Dike committed to Morningside in late March of 2020 in the middle of her senior year, and her final season as a Riverton Wolverine. After graduation Dike continued her swimming and schooling as a Morningside Mustang. She began her path to higher education as a history major but quickly decided “History f****** sucks. I’m really interested in current events and I like sports and writing about sports.”

Dike currently plans to pursue a career in journalism after her time at Morningside University.
