My Classmate Claire
When I first started talking with Claire DeRoin she didn’t have many exciting things to say about herself. I could instantly tell that I had to start getting more in depth with questions to find out more about Claire DeRoin. Claire is a junior at Morningside College majoring in corporate communications, she is from South Sioux City, Nebraska. If you ever see an Orange Neon driving around campus that will more than likely be Claire’s car. She came to Morningside because it was her last resort, she didn’t want to stay but stayed anyway.
Aside from going to school Claire works at Kohls and Pier 1, she also plays the organ at church. Her interests include shopping, and she will shop almost anywhere. Claire’s will listen to anything on the radio but refuses to listen to rap or country, her favorite shows are Big Bang Theory, and Sex and the City. When asked to pick between twitter and Facebook, she would tweet all day long rather than post on Facebook. Her favorite vacation spot would have to be California or New York. I’m sure they have some great places to shop at either of those locations.
For Claire’s future, she wants to work as an event planner. After meeting her if I ever need an event planned for myself or anyone I know, I would definitely look for her to plan my event. For more information on Claire, visit her about me on her blog.

Excellent use of a link!
One thing we will address soon is the use — or non-use — of the word “I.” As the writer, you want to be invisible, Andrew. Instead, it would be: “She doesn’t like to talk about herself, but after a fashion Claire DeRoin offers some interesting details about her life.”
Did you ask follow-up questions, Andrew. There is stuff here that interests me, but not a lot of depth.
