The organization’s most recent activity was an Easter egg hunt for students. After the initiation ceremony, Demi and Cassie decided that a campus wide Easter egg hunt would be a fun way to get everyone involved on campus.

Cassie Burnside, vice president of ALD,  said, “This campus-wide Easter egg hunt was a great way to get the new initiates involved and show them how fun ALD is. We even got to paint the Spoonholder!”

In total, 565 eggs were hidden around campus by new and old ALD members as a way to get students involved, while they prepare for finals, as well as to help them celebrate Easter.

The eggs were filled with candy and study tips, and the grand prize was hidden in a giant egg in the fountain. It could be retrieved in the bookstore for a twenty-dollar gift card.
