By Sarah Davy ~ With the school year slowly coming to an end, ALD officers held a new officer election meeting on April 16th in the Yockey room. All the ladies who were inducted into ALD had the opportunity to run for a leadership position. The current officers went around and described their positions to the new inductees giving them a chance to decide which position they would like to run for.
After a great election meeting, current president, Demi Dunn said a few words of encouragement to the new officers in hopes of getting them pumped for the upcoming year.
Demi gave advice to new president, Maria Bobling saying, “Communicate with your officers, advisor, and with your group as a whole to make sure everyone is on the same page.”
In a speech and vote process, the ladies could nominate each other or nominate themselves for any of the nine positions.

Secretary: Sarah Sorenson
Treasurer: Michelle Draper
Service Director: Kayla Arlt
Social Director: Anna Christensen
Co-Historian: Amanda Conley
Co-Historian: Kiera McCarthy
Social Media Director: Hannah Hecht
