The role of sound and pictures are similar as they either have a video or picture’s of the scene.

    This wasn’t exactly what the assignment was, Shane, but you did find something interesting. The “formats” for stories, print and broadcast, are pretty similar. Reporters ask the same questions, police provide the same info, so stories on the same subject — this time a kid’s kidnapping — can seem pretty similar.
