My Dream Job

Looking for someone to create new ideas for our products (food and other products) that will draw in our customers.  Need to have experience in business marketing/advertising and some knowledge in chemistry.  Must be able to critically think and be able to have social knowledge.

In order to get this job in the future, I will have to graduate from college, most likely with a bachelor’s degree.  I will have to take most of my courses in the business area with a minor or cluster in chemistry.  I will also have to be involved in many social programs in clubs at Morningside in order to make sure I have the social skills I need for this job.  I will have to work hard in college and make sure to focus on my studies instead of putting too much emphasis in my social life.  While at Morningside, I will also have to build relationships with professors and faculty that will be beneficial when I am looking for a job.  I agree with Alex that I need to start working on my network and on getting into clubs and organizations that will help with my career.  It is important to get to know the people that could land me a job in the future.  It is also important to be involved in things that employers will find beneficial to my work on the job.

I will also need to have a back up plan like Alex said.  As of now, that back up plan is in business relations or in human relations.  I feel that I need to have a job where I deal with people rather than being in a lab or at my own desk all day.
