They call me Diegs, read about it.

Week 11

Crocs is now targeting teens. Somehow, it’s working.

According to this article, the Crocs brand is now more popular than it has been in the past. The brand has managed to appeal the minds of young people in the generation Z, and it is coming with new designs and collaborations.

According to the article the company has even given the Generation Z their own name as they call them “explorers”, because they are its primary buyers, these shoes also sell for $30 to $40 dollars. Which is more affordable than the 500 dollar shoes from the recent collaboration with Alife, which is far more expensive.

The article says that this is not their first collaboration to make these shoes cool, it has also collaborated with singers like post Malone to promote and sell more.

The article mentioned that once upon a time these shoes were the joke of all shoes because they are ugly, but according to recent events the shoe is now very popular  even in runways and high fashion. These shoes were at its all time high back in 2014, but they are trying to revive the trend.

(In my opinion these shoes are really ugly, but fashion is fashion and people want to be in with the latest trend. I think they are so ugly that people find them interesting and unique. The article said too that these shoes have been around for 10 years and are now just becoming more popular. kids now are obsessed with trends of the past, so this could explain why these shoes are popular. The article does a good job about talking about exactly what the shoe is doing and the roots of its popularity.)

OK, Diego. The last graf does not need to be in parentheses. It’s OK for you to voice your opinion in these posts. Though I would like them to be about the stories.
