Kyle Beach reported a sexual assault from a coach back in 2010. The video from CBS news gives a brief summary of the Assault while the article written in NBC Chicago gives much more detail. The written article gives much more background that helps put the whole story together. I feel the length is much longer in the written story as it gives much more information if you are actually interested in the story where the video gives a brief overview. The sounds and videos do help as it identifies the victim and the person who did the sexual assault. One thing I found very interesting was the video mentioned other sexual assault allegations against this coach while the written version doesnt. I feel adding these other sexual assault allegations helps paint a picture that this guy is not a good guy. The written story includes many quotes from Kyle Beach which help show his feelings and give more perspective. I think it’s kinda crazy how two stories over the same thing can have so many similarities and differences. I personally like the written version as I wanted to know more information than the video had to offer.
