Barn Fire

Arson is suspected in barn fire early this morning. At Norfolk Downs Race Track in Chicago, a fire had erupted at 4 A.M. inside the main barn holding 25 horses. 15 did not make it out with their lives, 13 being thoroughbred and two being saddlebacks. 10 horses made it out but it was very close at two ran out with their backs on fire.

The fire had started in the middle of the barn, but the only electricity or heaters were in the tack rooms that are located on the ends of the barn. This suspicious fire roared until noon.
