One fatality and three survivors after a collision of two cars on Hwy. 28th, east of Sioux City yesterday morning.

Moyer Quick a 65 year old male and resident of South Iowa City was pronounced dead on the scene. Moyer and his wife Dorothy were headed westbound following 17 year old Randy Radin.

Around 11a.m., Quick went to pass Radin but struck the rear-end of his vehicle, causing both vehicles to be launched into the north ditch. Quick’s vehicle then rolled one time.

Along with Radin, two passengers (Dorthy and Maxine) in Quick’s vehicle were transported to the hospital. Randy Radin is listed to be in “critical” condition with head and internal injuries. Dorothy Quick of South Iowa Sioux is reported to be in “good” condition. Maxine of Lawton, is in “fair” condition.

The accident will continue to be under investigation.
