Refs are being reviewed by the NFL after asking a player for an autograph after the game.

There was a video after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game showing what seems to be a couple of refs asking for an autograph. Who the refs were asking for an autograph from was wide receiver Mike Evans.

The NFL referees Association rules are for refs to stay away from players, coaches, and NFL team personal for autographs. The NFL wants to keep the refs fair and Unbiased towards teams.

I think this story is interesting because it is something I haven’t seen or heard of refs doing. I think the NFL has the right rule towards refs and it does seem a little odd that refs were asking for autographs after the game, and could maybe even give calls in that players favor.

I kind of assumed this happened all the time. But I can see why the NFL has rules against it. They should be like the GPAC and hustle the refs out of the stadium as soon as the game is over.
