Twitter has had a huge drop in revenue.

Advertisers have cut off the use of using twitter as a marketing platform. There is lay off that could be happening in the near future of employees being laid off.

The owner Elon Musk has the belief that activists groups are taking charge and pressuring advertisers to not use the twitter platform. Elon Musk said, “the company hadn’t changed content moderation and had tried to address activists’ concerns.”

What catches my eye is that Elon Musk had recently bought twitter for what we know for billions. The story has made is seem that the revenue drop has caused not much gain for Elon Musk. I wonder if the revenue drop will continue and what will happen to the platform of twitter? I hope for anything not to happen to twitter as I think it is a great platform.

I did the comparison on the story of Elon Musk buying twitter. The leads on the story were very different I thought, the video included a lead with a number of 10% less users on twitter during the pandemic and the lead for the story was about the take over of twitter by Elon Musk.

There was a quote a in the video https://abcnews.go.com/Business/elon-musk-closes-deal-acquire-twitter-reports/story?id=92122221 said, “Elon Musk is set to run twitter by Friday” and in the story there was a similar quote https://apnews.com/article/elon-musk-twitter-inc-technology-business-san-francisco-ee1e283ff873813524ff21b0a7751b47?utm_source=homepage&utm_medium=TopNews&utm_campaign=position_01 said, “Elon Musk is taking control of twitter”.

There was some music in the audio and the video displayed many logos of twitter in the video story. I thought it was interesting that the story was so long and it was all summed up in just a 20 second video. Why would you go read a story when there is a 20 second video to watch?

Refs are being reviewed by the NFL after asking a player for an autograph after the game.

There was a video after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game showing what seems to be a couple of refs asking for an autograph. Who the refs were asking for an autograph from was wide receiver Mike Evans.

The NFL referees Association rules are for refs to stay away from players, coaches, and NFL team personal for autographs. The NFL wants to keep the refs fair and Unbiased towards teams.

I think this story is interesting because it is something I haven’t seen or heard of refs doing. I think the NFL has the right rule towards refs and it does seem a little odd that refs were asking for autographs after the game, and could maybe even give calls in that players favor.
