The results of a blustery Saturday on the pitch saw Midland’s soccer teams leave Sioux City with a win and a tie.
Morningside’s women (6-6-2) played from behind most of the afternoon. It wasn’t until three minutes remained on the clock that Roselynn Boseman knotted the score at 3-all and salvaged a tie. Samantha O’Roy and Keyera Harmon also scored.
The Mustang men (3-6-6) held the Warriors scoreless through most of the first half. Michal Goral’s score in the 44th minute was all Midland needed for the win.
Next up for Morningside is Mount Marty Sept. 22 in Olsen Stadium.
