By Jessica Nyirongo – Some of you have likely noticed a new logo on campus and are wondering, what is that? Where did it come from? Well, we have some early answers for you. According to Stacie Hays, VP of University Engagement, Heath Weber (Dean of Fine Arts) and Jason Reynoldson (Assistant VP of Facilities) had a vision for a unique piece of art for the campus mall. They reached out to CW Suter, a local HVAC and Plumbing Company, who helped craft the finished piece. At that point, CW Suter decided he wanted to donate the art to our campus.
From there, Admissions, University Engagement, and Facilities considered various locations for the piece of art and got it set up. There will be additional landscaping and a commemorative activity happening soon. For now, thanks to our campus staff and CW Suter for this new addition to our campus!
