What began as a back-and-forth battle between Morningside and Ottawa University turned into a satisfying 63-38 first round NAIA playoffs victory.

Morningside next plays No. 10 Kansas Wesleyan in Round 2 of the playoffs. KWU (11-1) advanced with a forfeit win over Indiana Wesleyan. The Game will be in Olsen Stadium Saturday, Nov. 27, at noon.
