By Jadyn Steffen– With Fall Break starting this Thursday, plenty of Morningside Students are planning what they are going to do with this much needed time off. Whether it be taking time for themselves or going home to see family and friends, everyone is ready to finally kick back and relax.
Junior Jennie Reideman says, “I can’t wait to go home and go hunting. Every break I have, I either go hunting or fishing with my brother, so I’m really excited to go home and spend some time with my family.”
Junior Chloe Krommendyk has pretty similar plans as well, minus hunting and fishing. She says, “I’m probably going to go home and see my dog, because I miss her so much and then probably just work.”
On the complete other side of the spectrum, some students may take this time off to relax and participate in some self-care.
Freshman Ana Conover says, ”Honestly I just planned on staying on campus and chilling here. We only have like two extra days off, so I don’t have much going on.”
Senior Shar Bassette plans to embrace all of what fall is about.
“I’m going to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Omaha and I’m going to a haunted house!”
With all these fun fall festivities what a better time to get out and really take in all of the things this season has to offer.
Shar says, “I’m just really excited. These are my favorite things about fall!”
There are so many great things students are getting to enjoy over break, making this much deserved time-off.
