A Townsville firefighter has been injured after botched cat rescue. Firefighter Bob Harwood of the Townsville fire department is nursing a broken leg at St. Lukes Hospital after the incident and is stated to be doing “just fine”.
The accident occurred as Harwood was climbing down from the tree and branch snapped underneath him and he fell 15 feet to the ground. The cat was not injured during the situation.
Was the rescue really botched? They did save the cat.
Ooooh, I don’t know. “Botched” has bad connotations for me. Are you suggesting Bob’s incompetence caused his accident?
