Big 4th quarter nets 47-17 win
Twenty points in the fourth quarter allowed the Mustangs to pull away from Mount Marty for a 41-17 win in their home opener. Next up for Morningside is Midland, Sept. 23
Spikers fall to #17 Jimmies 3-2
Morningside dropped a five-set match to Jamestown Sunday, its first GPAC loss. The Jimmies picked up a 27-29, 25-21, 14-25, 25-20, 15-7 win. Sydney Marlow led the Mustangs with 18 kills and 15 digs. Payten Lode notched 11 kills and 15 digs, and Ola Dalach 43 assists and 10 digs. Payton Shoquist tallied 25 digs.
