Morningside made its 58-21 semifinal win over the Coyotes look easy. The Mustangs scored on their first five possessions, and kept Kansas Wesleyan off the scoreboard until the second quarter.
What began as a back-and-forth battle between Morningside and Ottawa University turned into a satisfying 63-38 first round NAIA playoffs victory.
