Five wrestlers will represent Morningside at the 2020 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Championships in March.
The five Mustangs finished in the top three of their weight claasses at the GPAC Regional Wrestling Qualifier, hosted by Morningside last weekend.
Junior Jonah Egli (174 pounds) and senior Jacob Wiley (197) won their weight classes. Freshmen John Diener (149) and junior Phil Rasmussen (Hwt) punched their tickets to nationals by finishing second. Senior Dustin Reed (133) finished third.
In team competition, Morningside finished third, behind winner Concordia and runner-up Briar Cliff.
