Volunteers for 2018’s Into the Streets

Coming up on its 13th year, Into the Streets is where Morningside gives back to its community. Abby Koch and Tim Sibbel, this year’s co-Vice Presidents of the event, have worked to make the event even more impactful: they’ve partnered with Volunteer Siouxland.

“Withthe new sign up process, and the way Tim and I are approaching the event, Into the Streets will be more streamlined to have more of an impact on the community,” Koch said.

This new partnership will also allow Morningside to see an immediate economic impact.

“This year we will be able to see the dollar amount of the impact on the community,” Koch said, “because of our partnership with Volunteer Siouxland.”

Maddie Dotzler and Nic Madsen, both 2019 alums of Morningside, began this partnership last year. Koch and Sibbel built off their conversations in order for Into the Streets 2019 as organized as possible.
