In the spirit of Halloween, I thought I would make a comment about spooky based news. The article warns of the weapons in the candy, like they do yearly. Except this year they warn of THC based products in children’s candy with it being legalized to the public. A few interviews had parents saying that they won’t let their children traditionally trick or treat and instead are finding safer alternatives.

Upon reading the article I can see that marijuana treats could be a problem, but it’s within the same category with needles, razor blades and poison. This has been a problem for decades and I feel that all of the other warnings are more harmful than THC in candy. Those can kill where as marijuana can’t. It is a problem for families, but its at no greater risk than previous years.
