The most recent true conversation I have had was last night with my brother-in-law’s parents. They are visiting here from Arizona and we had not seen each for about a year, so much of the conversation was catching up and small talk.

I talked a lot about being on the football team and how the college experience has been for me thus far. Then, they responded by telling me about their life in Arizona and how it differs from where they used to live in Cherokee, Iowa.

I also got to hear a number of embarrassing childhood stories about my brother-in-law, so it was a fun time.
