Midland Zoo Icon Homer the polar bear dies at 16

Posted at 11:09 am under Uncategorized

At approximately 7 am Homer was found floating in the pool after his feeding. The other polar bears were quickly removed from the enclosure to prevent any other altercations. The cause of death is unknown and is under investigation, however death for the Midland Zoo is not uncommon because that is the third death this month following a Giraffe and Bobcat. Something needs to change before they run out of animals whether it’s the staff or the enclosures and how the animals are living, either way their reputation is declining and shutting down at this rate with animals dying may be in the near future.

This is more news story that press release, Braeden. If you owned the zoo, what would you want people to know (and not know)? What sort of tone would you set?

I’m not sure what to do with the final sentence? Is that the voice of an angry zoo visitor?
