NA 13 Nebraska Football HC Arrested Domestic Assault

Nebraska is in a very tough spot since their temporary head coach was arrested on domestic assault charges. It’s bad enough that their first coach scott frost was fired then their temporary coach was arrested, and according to school policy he was placed on administrative leave. However, the school hired former Temple, Baylor and Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule to take over the position. This could be a very big move for nebraska and maybe put them back on top with all that knowledge at the new head coaching position. although Rhule could be a good coach but from personal experience going through coaches so quickly can take a toll on a team.

Deepening roots

Morningside is expanding the ag department and made a state of the art greenhouse. I would consider this news because ag is what keeps america fed. the target audience for this is potential ag students showing them that we have a good ag program and the readers of the story would gain knowledge of how good our ag program is. along with this morningside gains good publicity because a alumni funded the green house.

NA 12 N.Y.’s Child Welfare System Racist

New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services should protect children without putting families at risk, and it seems like what everyone would expect they fail. the NY times stated that “For decades, Black families have complained that the city’s child welfare agency, the Administration for Children’s Services, is biased against them”. Which is mind blowing to me especially since what has gone on in the past and how far we’ve come as a nation. and It turns out that most of the employees agree. there was a survey done of all the agency’s employees and the results were more than 50 Black and Hispanic frontline caseworkers and agency managers in Brooklyn and the Bronx, along with many parents and advocates, described a “predatory system that specifically targets Black and brown parents” and subjects them to “a different level of scrutiny. Which is insane at some point the system needs to be fixed and apparently deracialized, because if the system was able to get fixed and deracialized more families would let them in to help and the agents could do more good then what the do now, harm the family

NA11 Russia Attacks Poland

It was reported on tuesday november 15th that russia had launched 2 missiles that happened to land on polish soil and happened to kill 2 farmers. This is super bad because poland is part of NATO and there is talks about nato filing for a Article 4 which would mean declaring war. This could also be a good thing because the whole world is tired of Russia’s attacks on ukraine so if there is the whole world against russia the war would be over pretty quick if there was a war at all because NATO could probably threaten Russia into surrendering and charging them with war crimes.

So hopefully this can be resolved soon because if not since i’m a guy whos of age I can be selected for the draft if it were to happen.

Bretts story

Bretts story begins when he is in highschool on the wrestling team. When he would begin to get ready to wrestle in matches he is super confident he’s going to win over his opponent. However, his senior year of highschool he had to wrestle a placement match and if he won it would place him as a state qualifier. Brett walked into the wrestling room confident knowing he was going to win. In the end Brett wound up beating the kid in the match decision by 5 points, he later proceeded to win 2 more matches after the kid and placing 3rd in the state of Nebraska.

Interview some players on the football team

For those who are up to date in the russian Ukrainian war heres what we know:

Ukraine’s military says it recaptured 12 settlements in the south, but it remains unclear if Russian forces are indeed withdrawing from Kherson City.

Even as their troops gain ground, Ukrainian officials fear a trap.

‘You can see them on the streets.’ One Kherson couple says some Russian soldiers remain in the city.

Russia and Ukraine each have suffered over 100,000 casualties, the top U.S. general says.

The death of a high-ranking occupation official in Kherson coincides with Russia’s pullback order.

Pro-Kremlin commentators aim to placate the public amid military setbacks.

Ukraine peace talks remain distant even as Russia orders a retreat.

Amid continued military setbacks, Putin will not attend the G20 summit.

And now onto local news

19-year-old Joseph Cruz is charged with two crowns of second-degree murder

He’s charged with the October 29th shooting, deaths of Anthony Williams, 19, and Carlos Aguirre, 21 inside a house in South Sioux

Officers were called to scene at 2:15 AM and found both men unresponsive and lying on the kitchen floor

One has been shot, at least twice and was pronounced dead at scene. The other was pronounced dead later at Mercyone Medical Center,

according to sources, Cruz was involved in other shootings previously, and one of the victims, who passed away was his cousin.

Allies Vow to Protect Ukraine’s Infrastructure From Russian Attacks NA10

It has recently come out that 7 nations discussed sending more air defense equipment to Ukraine and agreed to coordinate on rebuilding its infrastructure. This would be super useful for ukraine because they’re getting help from all over and are no longer self sufficient in rebuilding. The 7 different nations not only said that they would work together to rebuild critical infrastructure in Ukraine that has been destroyed by Russia’s military, but to also defend such sites from further attacks. This is again huge for ukraine because I feel like if they keep getting help from western countries russia will eventually back down because they are losing all kinds of support ever since they said they are planning where to drop nuclear weapons.
