By Taylor Pluim—Have any songs or poems that you have written that you want to show off? Check out open mic night at Vangarde Arts. Vangarde Arts is located in downtown Sioux City and is next to the Italian restaurant Trattoria Fresca. Open mic night started on February 12th and will be happening every other Thursday. The event starts at 6 o’clock and goes until 9 o’clock.
Mike Langley is the host of the event as well as a local musician. He invites everyone to come and enjoy the show every other Thursday.
The event is open to anyone who wants to participate. You can bring you acoustic guitar and play. If you have any poems you can get up on the stage and read them for the crowd.
