Morningside women’s soccer picked up their first GPAC win of the season with a 5-3 win over Northwestern. Jil Hellerforth, Keyera Harmon, Sina Feeser, Maddie Moore, Ellie Gengler all had first half goals. The men’s game was a defensive battle with the Red Raiders, leaving them 2-0-1 in the conference standings.
The Mustangs are undefeated against Briar Cliff’s Chargers in the “Battle for the Saddle” and the games haven’t been close. The Chargers put up a fight early Saturday in Olsen Stadium, but the Mustangs showed their dominance in the second half enroute to a 59-23 victory. Click HERE for the CR game story.
