Movie Review: Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

nightat3postBy Derek Krayenhagen—The third installment of the Night at the Museum franchise stays right along the lines of the last two. Secret of the Tomb keeps the same family-oriented comedy that we have come to love from the first two. Secret of the Tomb is nothing special, but if you go home and want to see a movie with the family, Night at the Museum would be the perfect movie for you.

Secret of the Tomb is still playing in select theaters. A relatively short movie with a run time of only an hour and thirty-eight minutes, Night at the Museum returns with more adventures of the night security guard, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller). This time, Larry and the gang travel to a British Museum to find out why the tablet, which brings all the figures to life at night is suddenly starting to act strangely.

Secret of the Tomb has its moments and you will find yourself giggling, but just like the first two, it’s all about the feel good moments that the Night at the Museum franchise has been so good at over the years.

New characters or figures keep the movie lively and also helps stay away from the same monotonous storyline. If you have seen the first two installments in this franchise, then I would recommend seeing this one as well.
