By Diego Ocando – This summer, the Morningside Dining at Wikert Dining Hall underwent a major renovation, providing students with a more modern and convenient dining experience.
The cafeteria now has new tables and a new layout, making it easier for students to find a place to eat. All the stations have been updated, with new signs to help students find their favorite foods.
The TVs at each station have been upgraded, showing improved menus that display the food options along with ingredients and calories.
The drink station has been expanded and updated, now including all beverage options. The coffee and tea bar has been moved to the drink area, and you can also find different bread choices and the popular waffle station with all its toppings.
Additionally, two new stations have been introduced to meet the needs of more students. The plant-based station offers meals made without animal products, giving vegetarian and vegan students more variety. The Simple Zone is focused on allergy-friendly options, providing foods that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free. These additions ensure that students with dietary restrictions can enjoy safe and satisfying meals without worry.
With these updates, the Wikert Dining Hall is ready for the new school year, offering students improved options, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere.
