By Josie Dike--Looking for a fun Halloween activity to do this spooky season? Scare Central on 4th street in downtown Sioux City is just the place! But be warned, this is “where your nightmares become real!”
The attraction features two haunted houses including the Fear Factory and The Nightmare on 4th Street.
The Fear Factory features a walk through of apocalyptic scenes with flesh eating zombies that will stop at nothing to feed on human flesh! The undead roams through the dark and twisted hallways searching for their next victim.
“I felt like someone was following me the whole time,” said Moses Dunbar.
Nightmare on 4th Street is a 5,000 square foot walkthrough of pure horror! Nash Perisho said, “From the start I knew I was going to scream like a little girl.”
This attraction features numerous animatronics and actors that aren’t afraid of getting close and personal. This walkthrough has special effects and dark passageways that will have you questioning if you will ever make it out.
“Although the line was really long, it was all worth the wait,” said Dunbar.
The attractions began their haunting at the beginning of October, but they are still welcoming those who are brave enough through the 28th, 29th, 30th, and the scariest night of the month, the 31st of October. Doors open at 6:30 and the cost of admission is $12 for The Fear Factory or The Nightmare on 4th Street, or a combo deal of $20 for both.
