Morningside’s football team is heading back to the NAIA Championship Final.
The Mustangs’ 28-19 win over Northwestern was lower scoring than the last few meetings. Morningside’s defense limited the Red Raiders to a field goal in the second half, and just one touchdown on the day.

The Mustangs (13-0) now head to Durham, North Carolina to play Grand View Dec. 18 in the 2021 national title game. Grand View (14-0) defeated No. 1 Lindsey Wilson College 34-28 in Columbia, Kentucky.
