Harrisburg Shooting

(Canton, SD)— The male student who shot Harrisburg principal, Kevin Lein Wednesday morning, has been recently charged in adult court.

Mason T. Buhl, a sixteen year old from Sioux Falls, will face charges of attempted murder and commission of a felony with a firearm. Buhl has up to twenty-five years in prison or a $50,000 fine according to argusleader.com

“This was an event that was stopped, and it was stopped by some heroic actions. That’s what we want to focus on here today.” Lincoln County State’s Attorney Tom Wollman stated.

Judge Bradley Zell set a no bond for Buhl for the sake of his safety and safety of the public. Buhl’s hearing is set for October 13.
