Johnny Walls

Johnny is from St. Louis, Missouri, and he has lived there his entire life. He is from Lotus St. Louis, and where St. Louis has some history of violence, Johnny stayed away and focus on the sports side of things. He played basketball his whole high school career until junior year, where his coach, Sterling fenny, convinced him that he was a special talent at football and should only pursue that. He said the transition from basketball to football was nice; he did not have to focus on anything else, just his football career. For his high school football career, he began to make a namer for himself, but it got caught short with a lost in the second round of the playoffs. He found a home at a Juco, Iowa central, where he really began to blow up. His second year of Juco football he was top 5 cornerback in the nation, and a top 3 in interceptions. He was originally going to the University of Tennessee Martin, but with a coaching change his decision changed, and he ended up at Morningside. And he has loved that decision ever since, winning a national championship, and making some connections he will have for the rest of his life.

I am a marketing major with a data and analytics minor, and I also play basketball. After my time here at Morningside, I want to start a business with my brother down in San Antonio, Texas. Not sure what the business will be yet, but we can figure that out later.
