Story 2 rough draft

Can Anyone save what is going on in Lincoln?

The Nebraska Cornhuskers just fired their head coach Scott Frost, and they are looking for someone to bring them back to the glory days.

Scott Frost was hired in December of 2017, and his time with the Huskers was not what fans predicted. After leading UCF to an amazing 13-0 record in his second season with the team, Huskers fans envisioned him as the savior coach they were looking for but were they wrong?

During his four-year stint with the team, Scott led the huskers to an embarrassing 16-31 record. Scott was fired after a loss to FBS school Georgia Southern, in which the huskers fell 45-42.

In his last press conference as a Nebraska Husker, Scott said, “I appreciate the people that are with us.” This press conference resembled his coaching career with the huskers, disappointing.

In an interview with Omaha, Nebraska native Tyson Gordon, Tyson said he had high hopes for Scott at first but after year three, the selfish mindset of Coach Frost showed. Tyson was recruited by Scott, as he led his high school team, Omaha Skutt Catholic, to two state titles.

Good Story Justin, I think you had good flow throughout the whole story and have good transitions that lead you into your next topic! One thing I think you could have had maybe a little more was quotes. For example, instead of telling us what Tyson had to say, let the quote do the talking for you! Overall a good story!
