Westward Expansion coming to the Big 12?

In recent interview, Brett Yormark, the Big 12 commissioner, was pretty clear cut on where he wants to take the Big 12 in upcoming years.

He plans on pursuing teams in the Pac 12, really looking into teams that will be able to put their conference in the fourth time zone. With Pac 12 losses of powerhouse schools, UCLA and USC, the Pac 12 will be under some heat, and he believes he can take advantage of that.

The Big 12 looks on to bring the best basketball and football teams to their conference, and they believe they can do that with some schools in the Pac 12. It will be interesting to see what happens in this conference for the next few weeks, as it appears Yormark is determined to make some moves out west.
