Hailey Barrus is a junior at Morningside College majoring in mass communication and journalism. She enjoys this major as she is interested in the news and media, especially lifestyle, sports and fashion. She is involved in theatre and the theatre honor society and thrives on the stage and likes to hang out with friends in her free time from theatre.
She spent this summer in California working at a wood-fire pizza company. She also likes to travel so it is no surprise that she enjoyed her time away from home in California. She is the oldest of four siblings, has four cats and three dogs that she likes spending time with when she is home.
