Lead Exercise #2.1 – Cat
Firefighter injured in pursuit of cat stuck in tree. Firefighter Bob Harwood climbed 50 feet into an oak tree at 102 11th Ave. to retrieve the cat. On his way down Harwood feel 15 feet after a dead limb broke beneath his feet, breaking his left leg in the process. Harwood was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital where he is doing “just fine.”
The calico cat belonging to twins Samantha and Suzanne Decker is also doing fine. The report says when Harwood fell the cat landed on top of him and was unharmed.
