I read the article about Shiran Nathaniel for my news comment this week. It is a grim topic but an interesting story. It is weird to think he worked here and now he’s facing felony charges for child pornography. The writing in the story is good and it was easy to keep reading but I’m not sure if that is more because of the subject of the article or the formatting of it.
Feature stories – Who will fill the Morningside position? How will this effect the girl? How will this effect Morningside students?
The last two feature ideas could work. Student reaction would be interesting, though most don’t know. Doing a story on “the girl” is unlikely since she’s a minor. But something more general on what effect this has on young women could be done.
