This year’s homecoming queen Cathy Wensen was arrested for DUI last night. Cathy has been arrested for the third time in six months for driving under the influence of alcohol. Coincidently, her father is a locally prominent attorney. Cathy is a straight-A student who plans on studying biology at Vanderbilt University for graduate school.

Five people were killed this Thursday night in an airplane crash at Kennedy International Airport. The airplane crashed as it attempted to takeoff. On board was forty-five passengers and crew members. Two passengers included professors from Backwater State University. They were returning to campus from separate conferences in New York City. The professors escaped injury.
