Young NFL star, Henry Ruggs III kills innocent driver in a DUI incident
Former Alabama star wide receiver, first round pick, and now Oakland Raider. Henry Ruggs was driving 156 mph while twice over the legal limit for drinking and driving. The incident occurred at 3:40am.
The now ex-NFL wide receiver faces two felony charges after the incident has been pictured in a wheelchair but is in stable/ healthy condition. The victim listed as a “23 year old woman” was pronounced dead at the crime scene. Ruggs’ bail is set for $150,000 and is expected to post that bail and be under police supervision until the hearing.

This article is directed at the sports world because it is very sports focused but it can serve as a reminder to all to not drink and drive.
I’m not sure what you mean by background info. I didn’t see much on the girlfriend, other than that they have a 3-year-old. People seem to focus on the crash, but he was charged with other crimes, and will likely be sued by his girlfriend. Is that worth mentioning?
