Things to Remember as Easter Break Approaches

easterBy Dominique Swanson—As Easter Break approaches there are a few things students should keep in mind before mentally checking out for the holiday.

Housing sign up is a hot topic this time of year and the applications are up with the deadlines quickly approaching.

Sheri Hineman is in charge of housing sign-up on campus and is a great resource for any questions or concerns involving this matter.

Wednesday, March 25th at noon is the beginning of sign-up for Medical accommodation rooms. On the 26th sign-up for the apartments begins. Then on Friday, March 27th specific information for Dimmitt, Roadman, and Plex will be available. The actual sign-up for them begins Wednesday, April 8th goes until the 4th. May term and summer housing forms are due March 29th.

Along with remembering housing sign-up, this is a good opportunity to start packing up things to bring home over Easter. This is the best time to bring things home because it makes the process of moving out of the dorms for summer much easier.

Lynsay Haverland, an executive of Student Government, reminds us that, “Spring Formal is the weekend after students return so they may want to bring special clothes from home for this occasion.”

At this time of year it could be easy to forget bringing anything back to school, so this is a chance students may not want to miss out on if they keep their nice clothes at home.

As difficult as it is to want to do anything as the holiday approaches, these are some important things to consider before completely relaxing for break.
