By Hannah Hecht– Congratulations to Diane Nguyen, Omicron Delta Kappa’s Student Leader of the Month for September.
Nguyen is a sophomore English major who is the public relations officer for MAC, a commuter representative for student government, a commuter assistant, and a member of the homecoming committee. She also is a member of the English honor society Sigma Tau Delta, and she was on the poetry selection board for the Kiosk literary magazine.
Omicron Delta Kappa is Morningside’s campus leadership honor society. Every month, they select a student who best exemplifies leadership qualities in many or all of its five pillars of excellence (Scholarship; Athletics; Campus/ Community Service, Social/Religious Activities, and Campus Government; Journalism, Speech and the Mass Media; and Creative and Performing Arts) as the campus’s Student Leader of the Month.
