By Caitlin Casey–After a 79-63 win over Hastings on Saturday the women’s basketball team will face off with Hastings again this coming Wednesday in post-season play.
The Mustangs finished the regular season with a record of 25-4. The win over Hastings gave the Mustangs an outright GPAC title, rather than having to share it with Concordia. Overall in the GPAC Conference the Mustangs finished 17-3.
As champions of the conference they get an automatic bid to the NAIA Division II National Tournament. The Tournament will be held in Sioux City at the Tyson Events Center March 6-12. Game time Wednesday is scheduled for 7pm in Allee Gym, where the Mustangs look to extend their success into the post season.
