By Gabi French–Morningside’s volleyball came up short in the season finale, falling to Briar Cliff 3-0: 25-23, 25-16, 25-23.
Jennifer Buyert and London Bockenstedt led for the Mustangs once again when they each shared 11 kills for leaders.
“I knew this could’ve been one of our last games, so I wanted to go out and give it all that I had for my teammates,” London said.
Morgan Gourley was a mop in the backrow where she picked up 15 digs, followed by Katie Kuck who performed double figures with 10 digs. Torie Sykes controlled the offense where she dealt 31 assists. Bockenstedt and Ashley Vande Stowe each had two-ace serves individually. With the loss the Mustangs recorded a 8-20 and 3-13 in GPAC.
