By Lindsay Martin– La Fiesta Charra is a Mexican Restaurant located at 3079 Floyd Boulevard in Sioux City, Iowa. The authentic Mexican cuisine is absolutely delicious and the customer service is satisfactory.
Complementary chips and homemade salsa is served first, while deciding what to eat. I tried the fresh guacamole that coincided well with the salsa. I recommend arroz con pollo, which is a very popular entrée. It is a layer of Spanish rice, topped with juicy grilled chicken, and white cheese drizzled on top. Arroz con pollo is also served with flour tortillas that can be used to make excellent tacos. The mango margaritas also offer a unique burst of flavor.
The food was delicious and was served fairly quickly after ordering. The server was friendly and attentive to my needs. The décor enhanced the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Also, overall the restaurant was very clean.
Terri Martin stated, “I really enjoy eating at La Fiesta Charra. The staff is very friendly, and very good at remembering their returning customers. I have never eaten anything there that I didn’t like.”
Katherine Weis said, “The queso is absolutely delicious and all the food is fairly priced.”
Delicious and affordable are two things all college students look for in a restaurant.
I highly recommend the restaurant for anything from enjoying lunch or celebrating a birthday. If you love Mexican food, it is a must!
