by Chaise Pfanstiel–Celebrate a taste of Morningside October 7, Morningside University’s homecoming weekend. Students, friends, family, faculty, and staff are all welcome to attend.
What is Taste of Morningside? It is a long-standing tradition for Morningside University. Vendors like Patti’s Pit Stop, B.A. Bowls, Big Papa’s Grub on the Run, Benny’s Dogs, Tastee’s Inn and Out, Bob Roe’s, Palmer Candy Company, Taqueria El Buen Gusto, and finally Hardline Coffee Co. will participate in bringing in food trucks to campus to share their food.
Students can purchase tickets by cash or check anytime during the week from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Krone Center. All checks should be made payable to Morningside University with Taste of Morningside in the memo.
Homecoming is an annual celebration of all things Morningside. Herds of Mustangs gather to cheer on Morningside teams. The taste of Morningside presents an opportunity to catch up with old friends and reminisce about your days at Morningside.
The Mustang football team will take on Concordia University, and immediately following the game is when the University will host the Taste of Morningside event around the Mason Family Tennis Complex. Morningside University welcomes all to come eat some great food, drink some awesome drinks, get to know those around you at Morningside University, and those who paved the path for us now.
Campus tours will also be provided on Saturday morning before the Mustangs kick off in their football game.
