by Alexis Spier–The cast for the play Leveling Up has been decided. The opening show will be performed Thursday, November 9, in Klinger Neal Theater.
Leveling Up is about three video-game loving teenagers living in Las Vegas. Playing video games becomes more than fun for one of the teens when he is hired by the National Security Agency.
“The play portrays friends navigating life and making the transition into adulthood,” said Production Director Taylor Clemens. “One of the characters is able to use his talents to land him an exciting job. However, working for the National Security Agency isn’t all fun and games. It’s life and death.”
Cast member Sal Osborn will be playing the role of Zander’s girlfriend. Zander is one of the male main characters.
“I performed in all three plays last year,” said Osborn. “I’m most excited to see the cast dynamic. It’s such a small cast, so it’ll be interesting to see how we all work together.”
